Inside the Elite Aprilia RSV4 X-GP Launch at Moto Bello.

If you happen to stroll into the Moto Bello Orange County showroom in Costa Mesa, California, expect to see the usual stunning Italian eye candy. You’ll find rows of elegant Vespas, rugged Moto Guzzis, and standard production street-legal sportbikes. But recently, a select few got a rare look at something far more sinister: the hyper-exclusive, track-only Aprilia RSV4 X-GP during the RSV4 X-GP Delivery Party.

Born straight out of Aprilia Racing’s legendary Factory Works program, this isn’t just a sportbike with carbon fiber stickers. It is a genuine 238-horsepower apex predator built almost entirely out of racing DNA. The launch party at the Costa Mesa showroom gave local gearheads a front-row seat to a masterclass in weight reduction and aerodynamic wizardry.

Pure MotoGP Technology on Display in Costa Mesa

Watching the walkthrough, the first thing that hits you is the sheer presence of the motorcycle. The bike features a full carbon fiber fairing by PAN Compositi, covered in a striking “RS-GP25” livery. Aprilia didn’t hold back on the aero package, utilizing under-wings, cornering winglets, and pioneering tail wings derived straight from their premier class MotoGP prototypes. According to the team at Noale, this aero kit significantly increases vertical load in the corners and anchors the front wheel during high-speed acceleration.

Underneath that lightweight skin lies a massaged 1,099 cc 65-degree V4 engine pumping out a jaw-dropping 238 crank horsepower. When Waheed spins the camera around the cockpit, you don’t see standard highway commuter switches. Instead, you’re treated to Jetprime racing switchgear, a race-configured APX digital dash, and an STM dry clutch that rattles with glorious mechanical intent. The absolute crown jewel of the plumbing is a custom SC-Project titanium full-system exhaust that screams MotoGP replica through every inch of its dual outlets.

Stopping this 363-pound missile is left to absolute top-tier hardware: Brembo Monoblock GP4 MS calipers clamping down on heavy-duty 330 mm “T Drive” discs. The package is rounded out by fully adjustable, pressurized Ohlins FKR front forks and a MotoGP-spec TTX rear shock, all floating atop forged magnesium Marchesini wheels wrapped in ultra-sticky Pirelli Diablo SBK slicks.

Local California Community Welcomes a Legend

For track-day riders in Southern California, seeing a machine of this caliber outside of a professional race paddock is a rare treat. Moto Bello Orange County has quickly become a premier destination for local sportbike culture, and playing host to an ultra-limited production bike like the RSV4 X-GP solidifies its status. Only 30 units of this machine are being built globally by Aprilia Racing, making the showroom appearance an unforgettable event for the local motorcycle community.
